Harmful Mobile Calls

Please be aware in case of ISD (International) calls. These are those calls which come from a number which is not starting with 91. 91 is India Country Code. If you got a call from a number which is starting with 92, 93 or 99 then only by receiving this type of call your balance will be reduced. So, don't respond to those calls.

There is a way for BSNL users that they can call BSNL customer care on 1503 and report this problem if it happens to them. BSNL will try to resolve the problem with your balance and block that number to call you.

We see advertisements about Earn 50,000 to 1 lacs of Money from Home by doing simple work. I have decided to know the truth behind these adds, So I call one of those numbers. I have asked on phone that is it a multi-level marketting? The person on the other side says No, it is not about marketting and gave an address to come there for an presentation.

I went to the presentation, there were so many people who have come to attend the presentation. They talked about "Herbalife" which is a product based company and selling its product to us. A product which is not a medicine but a innovation which cures you from Heart problem, BP problem, Diabetes, Weight Loss, Weight gain etc. There is a registration fees of 2300 rupees in which you get shake, energy drink, CDs, Informational documents and a bag. After that you can sell product on their behalf. The same multi-level-marketting concept is there, the more you sell the more you earn. You will get 25% on the sold products.

These all are same type of schemes. If you gave them a profit of 100 rs they are happy to give you 25 rs. Very less people will get success through this process but not everyone.

Freelancing

Freelancing is a way to work from home and earn money. If you have some skills to develop an application, website, writing articles or simply data entry then you can go for Freelancing and earn income right from your home. 

There are many websites available which provides these type of services but I found two of them more useful "Odesk.com" and "Elance.com". They are the most trusted one. You will have to make your profile and portfolio on it which includes your work samples. Client will give you work after seeing your work samples. Any work you do on this will also be a part of your portfolio. Also, you can give test on these websites or on brainbench to prove your knowledge. You get feedbacks from your client which is also a parameter for getting work from other clients.

Through freelancing you can earn money for sure but it is not regular. Initially, you will not get much work but if you try regularly by improving your proposals, you will get work and the more you work, the more is the possibility for getting more work.

1) To partially block unwanted calls and SMS- SMS START <category_number> to 1909

Earn Money through talent

There is a popular and very useful website where you can show your talent. A talent which can be shared and someone can like it for example that you can promote a product, sing and dance on anything, create logo or photo, give tips, share secret of some success formula etc.

The name of the website is fiverr.com. You can register on it. Its free of cost. Then you have to create your gigs which means description of the task you can do for 5$. Initially you can have 5$ for one order. Later if you become a top rated seller then you can add additional dollars for additional tasks. Your client can place any number of orders. You can also give order as a client. You can be client and server at the same time. 

When you complete and submit your order, you can have 4$ and fiverr will take 1$ for every order. It will mature in 10 days time. You can withdraw that amount to your paypal account and then from paypal to any of your account.

I have create a login there around 2 months back and provide a gig of making web pages. I got 2 clients and got total 52$ ( of 13 orders) from them. It is good if you want to earn small amount of money but if you have a very good talent or product in which everyone is interested, you can earn good amount of money and start your business from home itself.

I came to know about some useful information related to our Pan Card and want to share with you all.
Sample Pan Card Number: AAPFA3421J
In this Pan Card Number, we can divide this number into five parts-

1) AAP- It is an alphabetic series from AAA to ZZZ.
2) F- It represents status of Pan Card Holder.
3) A- It represents first character of Pan Card holders last name/sur name.
4) 3421- They are sequential numbers from 0001 to 9999.
5) J- It is an alphabetic check digit.

The status of Pan Card holder can be-
a) C- Company
b) P- Person
c) H- HUF(Hindu Undivided Family)
d) F- Firm
e) A- Association of Persons(AOP)
f) T- AOP(Trust)
g) B- Body of INdividuals(BOI)
h) L- Local Authority
i) J- Artificial Juridicial Person
j) G- Government

How to check status of speed post online ?

Recently, I have faced a issue. I have sent a speed post 1 month before and did not know that it was received or not. I have no time to go to post office and check the status because the schedule was too busy.

Then, I see on the receiving slip of the speed post, website of Indian post is given. I have browsed that website which is http://www.indiapost.gov.in/. A link of that website will show you the status of your speed post which can be open directly by using this http://www.indiapost.gov.in/Tracking.aspx.
